Powder Coating Services

BURN. SMASH. PAINT.

A finish is only as good as the process behind it—and at Livonia Tool & Laser, we don’t settle for anything less than tough, durable, and built to last.

Our powder coating services give your equipment the protection it needs to stand up to daily wear and the elements. With salt spray testing results over 500 hours (well above industry standards), you get a finish that’s scratch-resistant, fade-resistant, and weather-tough.

Our Powder Coating Facility

Our powder coating line can take on structures up to 7’6” x 7’9” x 16’, powered by a 900 ft. conveyor with a 5-stage wash cycle. Using the Parker dual-spray powder application system we deliver finishes that don’t just look sharp, but hold up to your everyday wear & tear.

We also run a 20,000 CFM vacuum system to prevent cross-contamination between colors, so every project gets a clean, consistent finish from start to finish.

What is powder coating?
Powder coating is the electrostatic application of a dry powder to metal, cured into a protective “skin.” Using a blend of resins, pigments, and additives, it chemically bonds to form a tough finish that resists chips, scratches, fading, and weather damage.

Frequently Asked Questions

All of our products are proudly made in the USA.
Absolutely. In addition to powder coating, we provide metal fabrication, rack fabrication and repair, engineering support, welding, laser cutting, and assembly.

Our combination of experience, in-house capabilities, and advanced technology allows us to deliver consistent, high-quality results at competitive pricing.

Because it’s stronger, cleaner, and more durable. Powder coating produces a thicker, more durable finish than conventional paint without drips or runs. It’s also more environmentally friendly, emitting little to no VOCs, with overspray that can be recycled to minimize waste.
